| Hi, my name is Hannah. You will most likely see me as a hobo living on the streets one day. As you can see, I am a very optimistic person. I'm also an obsessive perfectionist who would love to improve on my art, so any critiques or suggestions would be delicious and will thus prevent me from eating your soul for the next year, as they are equally tasty. I enjoy both traditional and digital, and you may also find me dribbling onto the floor under the shadow of a camera, the results of which can be found here in this account. Good day. |
My day was pretty good. Woke up feeling as if someone had just slit my throat, like.
Good times.
Cutting a long story short, I managed to pick up my camera again after months and months of nothing. Namely, to run around my town and the neighbouring city, scaring people with it in the name of A-level art.
It was interesting to see people's reactions to the camera, really. Some people put their heads down, others tried to walk a way that wasn't anywhere ahead of me, some got anxious and kept glancing around, and the odd few decided to bulge their eyes and lean in a bit. Unfortunately, I never had my camera switched on for this.
For shame.*
I'm not particularly impressed with most of the photos, slightly because my camera's a bit crap, slightly because I left the ISO speed at 800 rather than letting it auto-adjust and partially because I didn't really want people to notice the camera, meaning I had to look away and thus didn't have a bloody clue what I was doing.
I did manage to get one good set of photos, though. A man named Liam kindly let me take some photos of him at the local train station after I asked him, and I really like how they turned out, so at least one good thing came out of today. I also gave him the link to this site in case I did eventually post one or two of the photos - so Liam, on the off-chance you're reading this, cheers again for letting me take some photos. I was also a bit of a twonk and gave you the link to this account instead of the one I normally use for photos, which I'll stick at the bottom of this, sorry about that.
Now this is just turning into a huge ramble, so I'll stfu here and laugh about how Friday 13th really means nothing, and, if anything, seems to be luckier than any other day.
I'm pretty sure there's only about one person who actually bothers to read my journals, but if you are reading, how was your day?
*Actually, I just came across a photo where a man seems to be picking his nose. My life is complete. >: D
